Tournament Descriptions

The WPGA Junior Foundation offers many tournamnet programs for all levels of play. You can also find more information about each tournament in the tournament description in BlueGolf.

Tournament Descriptions:

Players Tour - The goal of the Players Tour is to have the top junior players in the state compete on golf courses set up appropriately for a high level of play. Invitations will be extended to the top finishers from the 2017 Player of the Year point list. Juniors must meet a handicap requirement to play on this tour. Boys must have an index of 10 and under and girls must be under 18.1. Course yardage is 6,500 - 6,800 for boys and 5,500 - 5,900 for girls. This is an Invite Only tour. If you meet the above handicap requirements, contact Andy Landenberger at the Section office to verify your handicap and make you eligible to register for Players Tour events. Events typically start at 8 a.m.*College students now eligible to play in Players Tour events.*

Junior Tour - This tour has events located all around the state of Wisconsin.
Out of state residents may now participate in our events.  For Juniors ages 12-18, no handicap requirement. These events are 18 hole tournaments typically starting at 8 a.m. Age divisions are 16-18, 14-15, 12-13 for boys and girls. Course yardage is 6,000 - 6,350 for boys and 5,000 - 5,350 for girls.

Future Champions Tour - Located around the state, this tour offers 9 hole tournament experience. Juniors must be 14 years old and under to play on this tour. This tour is more for juniors who are not yet ready to play 18 holes. Juniors under the age of 12 must play in a Future tour event to qualify them to play in Junior Tour events. Age divisions are 12-14 and 11 & under for boys and girls. Juniors on this tour typically play from the forward to middle tees. Events typically start at 8:30 a.m.

Milwaukee County Parks Tour - For juniors 18 and under. Tournaments played at Milwaukee County Parks golf courses. These are 18-hole stroke play events. Age divisions are 10-12, 13-14, 15-18 for both boys and girls. Age division 10-12 will play 9-holes of golf. These events start at 8 a.m. and are tee times.

Par 3 Tour - The Par 3 is the next step in the progression of a junior golfer interested in beginning competitive golf. The tour consists of 8 regular events and an Invitational event at the end of the season.For juniors 18 and under. Played on Milwaukee County par 3 golf courses. Age divisions are 7-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-18 for boys and girls. Tee times start at 8:30 a.m. and are based on age division.

Madison Par 3 Tour . - This in an introductory tour for juniors getting started in competitive golf. The course will be setup shorter for players. Holes will be shortened to around 70-90 yards for par 3 holes and around 120-150 yards for any par 4's on the course. is the next step in the progression of a junior golfer interested in begining competitive golf. The tour consists of 4 regular season events followed by and Invitational at the end of the year based on Player Points.

Lake Arrowhead Invitational - Lake Arrowhead Invitational will move to a June date of June 10th & 11th to make room for the Tour Championship that will take place in August. Invites for Lake Arrowhead will be based off the points list from the previous year.

Junior Best-Ball -  The Bull at Pinehurst Farms will host on June 27. This event will be a members only event, both players must be junior members to participate.

Fall Junior Tour events -  We will be continue the fall junior tour events. These events will be open to all juniors ages 12-18 and run just like a junior tour event. The only difference is they will be tee time starts with a limited number of players for each event. Look for these events online.



No Refunds after the entry deadline. If you cancel prior to deadline a $10 cancelation fee will be charged. If an event is canceled in its entirety, refunds will be issued for your BlueGolf account.  If less than five holes are completed, refunds will be on a pro-rated basis (entry less expenses). If five holes or more are completed, awards will be given out based on participant's score against par for the holes played and NO refunds will be made. Points will only be awarded for events that complete all 18 holes.

College Students eligible for Players Tour(now 21 and under)
College students ages 21 and under will now have the opportunity to participate in Players Tour events. All Players Tour participants must meet the handicap eligibility requirement to be invited to participate. Those that are invited will participate in a separate division and will be competing for gift certificates to be used at the host facility’s golf shop.
Non-Member Fees / Walk On Fees
The non-member fees as well as the walk on fees will be increased from $15 for the upcoming season. Become a junior member and save money.
