New to Golf
At the “New to Golf” stage, Juniors build an interest in the game of golf alongside PGA Professionals who make it fun, inviting, and inclusive. The rules and etiquette of golf are introduced and your local PGA Professional becomes your expert to help you along your junior golf journey. Formal competition is introduced in a team environment that is low stress on the junior and a way for them to experience competition on the golf course.

PGA Jr. League Golf is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls, ages 17 and under, to learn and enjoy the game of golf from PGA members, associates, and LPGA members. Like many other recreational youth sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with friends. Much like little league baseball, teams travel to different courses in their area and play against teams in a fun but competitive format.
